Car Alarms: Sidewinder keyless entry and autostart, beep beep, electronic componants

Question
QUESTION: I have a 1998 acura integra. It works just fine except the "Chip or Beep Beep" no longer works.  On  occasions it would only work during damp weather.  Now it no longer works.  What do I have to do to get the sound back?
ANSWER: Either dry out the electronic componants in the siren,
or replace it with a new one. Also if your alarm
is in silent mode, try going to www.directed.com
and locate the manual for your alarm, and learn
to toggle between silent and chirp mode. But to determine
if it's the siren, set off the alarm. If it works like
that, then you may have alarm issues
you will need the manual for anyway.

Either way, the manual will make the process easier.

I hope this helps.

QUESTION: I see the the sidewinder product is not listed on www.directed.com. The sidewinder that I have doesn't have a siren.  It uses the car horn. A one beep for unlock and two beeps for lock.  Is there a relay or control I should be looking for?  Hard finding info.
