Car Alarms: 95 Bronco Alarm is too sensitive., ford bronco, impact sensor

Question
Hi, I recently purchased a '95 Bronco with what i believe is the Factory Alarm.

When parked, larger passing trucks set it off.  Neighbors are beginning to
become upset with me because it will go off as many as 10 times a day.  So
for the interim, I have the alarm turned off during the day, but i have no
choice but to arm it at night.  Luckily fewer trucks drive by at night.

I know most alarms allow you to adjust the sensitivity .... is this possible with
this '95 Ford Bronco?  If so, how?

Thanks so much!

Answer
To my knowledge the Bronco alarms did not come with an impact sensor.  This leads me to believe that the sensor was added aftermarket.  At any rate, yes it will be adjustable.  Take down the dash panel under the steering column and find the impact sensor.  The sensor will have a spot to use a small screwdriver to adjust it's sensitivity, most have a small LED light on them that will turn on when it is activated.  Turn the screw until the light only comes on when a heavier impact is measured.
