Car Alarms: Code Alarm & crazy Horn, beep beep, mercury marauder

Question
QUESTION: Good morning AlarmTek, I have a 2004 Mercury Marauder with a code alarm auto start. It has worked great for 3 years and last night (heavy non stop rain day in michigan)the horn would start short beeps like it does when I puch the remote. Then after a few minutes it would stop. Then (when everyone was sleeping) it did it again then the horn stayed on blasting away. I tried the remote then started the car then manually started and it the horn just kept blowing finally I grabbed a pair of pliers and disconnected the battery. B/4 I try to re-connect I thought I would see if this is a common deal that I could fix.
ANSWER: Is it the car's horn blaring? of is it the siren from
the code alarm? If it's the car horn/headlights,
You need to address the factory alarm going off
at the same time you use the code alarm.

Let me know what's going on exactly and I will
try to help.

QUESTION: no lights but it is the horn.
I have never had a siren on the car.
It would go beep beep then a few minutes more beeps and after a few hours of this then the horn blasted away. I thought maybe all the rain had some affect. But the short beeps were the same as when I push the code alarm remote to start the car.

Answer
For some reason, the Code alarm is triggering the factory alarm as well. I would take it to the local
shop to have them address this issue. The 2 seem
to be in conflict here.

The code alarm is now also sending a signal through the remote starter connections, and is triggering
when it see's unusual power fluxations on the wires,
setting it off at the same time.

Have either the Code installer check all the wiring,
or take it to another aftermarket alarm guy to
inspect my idea, and fix/repair.

Luck with it.
