Car Alarms: alpine car alarm, pontiac sunbird, 1992 pontiac sunbird

I have an alpine car alarm that needs reprograming evertime I take my car out of storage and the person that used to do it for me has retired  his replaement is not interested in reprograming but would like to replace it with a newer unit; can you please tell me how to program  this unit . It is in a 1992 pontiac sunbird

I too would probably recommend replacing it.  But if you post the exact model of the system I will take a look into Alpine's literature and see if I can locate an installation manual for you.  The model number of the system will be on the brain itself, inside the vehicle, not on your remote control.
