QUESTION: i got a civic 05, since yesterday, the alarm goes off every now and then, what can i do, everything works fine, doors look and unlock ok, no electrical problem that i could see.  can you help me?   thank you
ANSWER: Please tell me what you are experiencing.

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
Or,
Is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
"going off"?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you.

QUESTION: it a factory alarm that i got, horn honking like if someone try to steel it, didn<t really check for blinking light or sign in dash , all i do is press back my remote and it stop.

Answer
It is a panic feature in the remote.
But, if I were you, I would call over
to the Honda dealer, and go over
what the factory alarm does, how and what triggers
the panic, or breaching of the system.

Then if it is malfunctioning, or there is a problem,
you'll know how to tell.
