Car Alarms: Amenity Pro-Start 3300 problem, fuel injection system, remote starters

Question
I installed this unit and all worked great for the day.  That night the vehicle shut-off running 50 mph and would not crank.  I removed the tach sensing wire and it fired up and we drove home.  Next day it would not crank, it seemed like the tach sensing wire was grounded but we had it disconnected and it still would not crank.  We removed all fuses and nothing.  We finally had to disconnect the wires that control the remote start feature before it would crank again.  So for whatever the reason when you have the remote start items attached it will not start. I followed the installation instructions and installed, then performed the tach learning procedure etc..  The system worked like a charm at for a day.  The remote start as well.  I installed the hood pin switch and tested that and it worked great.
Any ideas of what could be causing this type of problem?  the keyless entry and alarm is still working, we just have the few lines unplugged for remote start currently.

Answer
Hard to say Joey without know what car, but from the sounds
of it, the system was on the correct wires, you may have another issue.

Car alarms and remote starters DO NOT
stop cars while they are driving. Can't.
Not only considered dangerous, but it is
illegal in most states to have a car
shutdown while driving, and the Amenity is not set up
to do it in anycase.

This causes me to pause a bit and wonder if you were connected to the fuel injection system,
shutting it off somehow when driving.

I suggest #1, contacting the seller for some support on
the installation as it is causing a problem.

#2. get the correct wiring chart for the vehicle to
verify ALL connection points. (somewhere along the
way, you are causing the car to act this way.)

Lastly, If this car or truck has an immobilizer,
and you either did not install a bypass module,
or it is incorrectly installed, this too can cause
a problem.

But since I can not inspect, I can only go by the info
you provide.

I hope this helped some.
