i bought a 2005 ford taurus with a keypad entry .the previous owner did not give me the code-is there a way to find it without going to a mechanic?

Answer
You can remove it yourself. But without
the code, it's not going to be able to be used,
and or you should not be able to start it until
removed.

If you want to remove it, get the wiring chart
for the car at www.WIREWERX.com and retro fit
it safely.
