Car Alarms: car alarm, battery terminal, there some sort

I have  a 2002 CRV with what appears to be a "nustart" alarm not a factory one.  I found a receiver under the dash with that name on it.  Yesterday our battery went dead. I replaced the battery and now the alarm does not work.    The doors still lock and unlock(except for the rear window hatch)but the lights do not flash to indicate it is receiving the signal.  I have a four button remote nu1000r.  Is there some sort of reset button for this system.

no reset that I am aware of. Try removing your negative battery terminal for a minute and see if that works. I am not familiar with this unit but from what I have read on it no reset. Also check for a valet switch sometimes you can just push it once to reset certain alarms.
