Car Alarms: 92 maxima, silver dots, nissan maxima

my 1992 Nissan maxima will not start do to the factory security system. unlocking the door with the key will not disarm the security. is there a way to bypass it so i can start my car

Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
lt.green/black with silver dots |-|
at the anti-theft module, located in the drivers
door harness or the at the factory alarm, built
into the fuse box.

Once Located, splice into either wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel, so I suggest you get an aftermarket
alarm system to protect it from here on in.
