Car Alarms: car starter works but key ignition doesnt, dash panel, car starter

yes it is turning over but wont start all the way. and i I hold the key turned itl sit there and continue to turn over but never fully start. ill try and get you the part number on the brain. but if you have any ides of how thi could be happeneing, please let me know.

OK, since the car does crank I believe that your problem lies in the bypass for the Ford PATS system.  This will require a little work so it may be best to take it to a local shop.  If you want to try and test the theory, remove the bottom dash panel on the driver's side and locate the bypass module.  Disconnect it's harness and try to start with the key, if it starts this tells you the bypass module is sending its signal all of the time, and it should only be sending it when remote starting.
