Car Alarms: Disable Car Alarm, honda accord, local shop

I have a 1994 Honda Accord (4 door). The factory alarm has been acting strange, it locks automatically a few minutes after turning the ignition off and getting out of the car without arming it with the remote device and when you try to lock the car with the remote device it locks and unlocks repeatedly. I would really like to just disconnect the alarm and do manual locks unless there is a better way you might know of.  Thanks a lot for you help.

This sounds to me as if the system's ground is not making a solid connection.  This can happen over time, if you trace back the wires running to the brain of the key less system, I would be willing to bet you will find a poor ground connection.  If this is not something you want to try and tackle yourself, I would suggest taking it to a local shop and have them take a look at it.
