Car Alarms: remote start wont start, exact model number, remote starter

Question
I took my car in to have the oil changed, brakes changed and all of a sudden my remote starter stopped working.  It is an automate from 4 years ago.  Any ideas?

The Automate systems have built in diagnostics.  It will flash the parking lights a certain number of times to indicate if their is a problem with system.  If there was a hood pin installed it is also possible that the hood pin is now broken (which is pretty common).  If you get me the exact model number of your Automate I may be able to find a manual for you which would explain the troubleshooting steps in better detail.
