Car Alarms: remote start, pin switch, remote starter

Question
I took my car in to have the oil changed, brakes changed and all of a sudden my remote starter stopped working.  It is an automate from 4 years ago.  Any ideas?

Well they either broke the hood pin switch or depending on the way the installer hooked it up they might not have connected the smart start feature back to the battery. I have seen some units that require the negative battery terminal connected last. Check these things and let me know how you made out
