Car Alarms: car remote not working, antenna wire, remotes

Question
From what I can see, the sensitivity sensor is an Audiovox AS-9492. The remotes are Pursuit brand. Just seems strange that the remote was able to lock, but now doesnt unlock. Actually does nothing at all. Any clues?

The 2 remotes for my vehicle stopped working over night. I'm not getting any response from either remote. I changed out the batteries on remotes, but still no response. I was able to turn the alarm off using info from your previously answered questions. I tried to reset the remote but no luck. What do you recomend?
-----Answer-----
Sounds like the unit is bad or a bad connection somwhere. Maybe somehow the antenna wire came unplugged or broken. I am assuming this is an aftermarket alarm? If so what brand?

Answer
I think that you have a bad antenna/receiver or the alarm brain is bad. Maybe the installer has the antenna wire running in the door jamb or somewhere it could have gotten pinched when you closed the door or bumped loose. There really is no other explanation as to what happened.
