Car Alarms: Remote doesnt deactivate alarm, valet mode, adobe reader

Question
My car battery died the other day, so I disconnected it and took it out. The car was without a battery for about a day. When I installed the new battery I tried to start the car and the alarm went off. I tried to turn it off with the remote but it wouldnt turn off. I turned off the siren. I tried with all the spare remotes as well but it seems now that the alarm module doesnt recognise my remote? The alarm is a blackwidow tracker alarm. The alarm I think is imobbilising my car and I can still see the light of the alarm flashing. Any ideas would be much much appreciated

Answer
I can not find any information on their website for a model called the tracker.  I would try reprogramming your remotes.  It looks as if to program remotes is pretty much the same sequence on all of their systems.  To reprogram your transmitters take a look at this site http://www.blackwidowsecurity.com/currentpdf/x-z%20series%20complete%20rev2.pdf on page 20 of the manual in this link.  You must have Adobe Reader installed to view the manual.

It also explains the default method of putting their system into valet mode.  Valet mode would override the security features of the alarm, allowing you to start your vehicle without the transmitters and giving you time to look at the security system when you get the chance.
