Car Alarms: 01 Nissan Altima - alarm problems, nissan altima, car cabin

My factory installed car alarm horn/lights keep going off.  Is there an easy fix? My neighbor tried to correct and now I have no horn, no turn lights and my check engine light stays on.  Please advise.  Thank you.

Your neighbor blew a fuse.
And possibly did some damage to the cars CPU from
the sounds of it. But before you panic,
try out o few things first...

Check ALL fuses, in the car cabin, and under
the hood in the master box as well.

This is NISSANs factory alarm, and it's also
go a transmod immobilizor in the ignition.
HOPEFULLY this was not affected.

My first thought is to check all the fuses, but
if no joy and it does not correct, then please
get this over to Nissan for a diagnostic check
of your system. It will find the trouble but
no clue as to what the bill will be to repair
depending on they're inspection results.

Let me know if you can solve it at the master
fuse box in the engine compartment. That is
the cheapest fix by far!
