Car Alarms: Viper 791XV, vw jetta, door locks

I just want to know if the Viper 791XV 2 way alarm can be installed into an '02 VW Jetta w/o any compatibilty issues?

I see no reason why there would be any problems with the 791 in an 02 Jetta.  You will need to get a universal key-in-a-box type transponder bypass module for the remote start portion of the system.  To interface with the door locks you have to go into the driver's door, but otherwise it looks pretty straight forward.
