Car Alarms: which alarm?, alarmtek, quick reply

Question
Thanks for your advise and quick reply.  I have noticed a very large difference in system prices, some well into $300.  Is the Astra 777 (at $80 bucks)a reliable system?

I want to buy an alarm for my daughters 1997 Civic EX. She's in college and parks in the dorm lot and apt parking lots (hot spots for thieves).  I know absolutely nothing about what is available and what would be best.  budget is about $150 or less.  Suggestions?
-----Answer-----
Sure. Lots of good systems in stock here.
Tell me, do you want remote start and 2 way paging
as well? Or, something simpler?

I need your imput to best
suggest a product.

The simpler the better.  Although 2 way paging sounds interesting.  Is that a feature that alerts you to a breakin?

thanks

-----Answer-----
Yes, that is it's purpose, to monitor,
and report any breeches in it's zone.

See www.PAGINGALARM.com  for the ASTRA 777.

Easy install, does what you need, and under 80.00

Let me know if interested.

Answer
It is actually my best seller for 2 way convenience.
Very dependable indeed and the price is good.
Great backup support and replacement stock if needed,
and interfaces very well in this car.

It also includes a free starter kill relay
and socket this week.

Out of the box, this is what is needed
to outfit your daughters car.
