Car Alarms: 98 Honda Accord Alarm, honda dealer, honda accord

my car alarm is preventing the car from starting.  usually, when i put the key in the ignition, the sensor on the keyfob would trigger the light to turn green and the car would start.  i had a problem before and reset it, but i don't remember how.  i want to override it and take it to the dealer to get it fixed.  how do i override it?  thank you.

You can't. You can either permanantly disable the immobilizer,
or go to the dealer, have them reprogram
the reader and the key. You will need to tow
it in I suspect. You can go to the dealer and have the
key redone, but no telling if that will work until
you put the new programed key in the old
programed ignition. They need to have both
to be certain it works.

Sorry, I could not assist on this for
you. It would be unethical to simply print the
bypass info. The Honda dealer will do it by your VIN and registration info.
