Car Alarms: immobilizer, starter wire, bad news

Question
this devices is hooked up between the ignition and starter it had a little card
you would insert to be able to start the engine other wise if you didnt have it
inserted the car would not start the problem is my wife has lost the small
little card and i was wondering if there was any way to bypass this devise or
clip the wires and put a new terminal on it do away with it all together?

Answer
No if the card is lost, getting a replacement, unless
you have the info, is useless. You will need to have
it removed and the starter wire re-attatched prior
to starting the vehicle now.

a simple task for the local technician in
your area.
