Car Alarms: 1994 Toyota Camry Remote Start, toyota camry, digital meter

Question
Does the blue/white and the light green/red have anything to do with the wires the are connected to the switch in the passengers door panel?  Because I removed the door panel and there are three wires one light green/red stripe around it every inch or so, one dark green/red stripe around it, and one white/black stripe along it and a red stripe around it.

The blue plug in the passengers kickpanel has 11 wires coming out of it.  Testing them with my digital meter I found that the blue/white and the light green/red both had .69V at rest and .79V at lock or unlock.  The blue/red is +12V at rest, lock and unlock.

As for the wires in the blue plug coming from the switch the white had +12V at rest only, the light green +12V on lock and the dark green +12V on unlock.

So now I am a little confused about which wires I should be using.  Help me put my mind at ease and tell me that the two wires (blue/white and light green/red) you said to hook my remote wires to are the right ones and don't worry about the rest.

I just installed a remote start and everything works fine except for the power door locks.  I currently have the remote output wires hooked into the driver's kickpanel to the lock and unlock wires there.  But here is the problem, if I lock the doors with the button on the door I can't open the doors using the remote.  I can only unlock the doors with the remote if I lock the doors with the remote.

I talked to few different people about this and some of them said that my car may have the child safety door locking system.  Would you know what this is and how do I get my door locks to operate properly.  Any advice you would have will be greatly appreciated.

I think the trouble here is you are not
on the correct wires or location.
This happens, but here ya go:

POWER LOCK|blue/white      |- |passengers kick blue plug
POWER UNLOCK|lt. green/red |- |passengers kick blue plug

YOURS IS A 3 WIRE NEGATIVE DOOR LOCK SYSTEM
AND WILL BE ABLE TO BE STRAIGHT TAPPED
DIRECTLY FROM YOUR ALARM/KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM
WITHOUT THE USE OF ANY EXTERNAL RELAYS.

Please re locate and connect to this location.
The give it a shot.

Also if applicable, the blue/red
wire in that same plug is the child safety
door lock wire. My bet is the wires you are
on now are not what we need here.

If however the correction did not work,
ground the blue/red wire at the same time you
send a (-) to the unlock wire. That disarms
the child lock out system at the same time.

I hope this helps you solve you
issue.

If I have to ground the blue/red wire at the same time as the unlock wire can i hook the two together with diodes and then to the unlock wire from the remote?

That will be fine. Or a 3 amp inline fuse works too.

A.

Answer
Stop!
You are overthinking a very easy connection.

Locate the 2 wires I told you in the kick panel
in the harness coming out of the door.
Take a simple test light (not multimeter)
and probe the lock wire. It will physically
lock when the copper is touched with the chassis
ground. and so will the unlock wire when probed.

Simply splice into and attatch the (-)
negative door lock outputs from the alarm and
that's all.

Done.

Move on to the next thing after you tape off.
