Car Alarms: IS300 anti-theft reset, light fuse, vanity mirror

Question
My co-worker could not operate the alarm via the remote after her lighted vanity mirror fell out and she reattached it.  I checked it out and found a blown dome light fuse.  Replaced the fuse and everything worked fine, except the car won't crank now.  The other problem is the alarm doesn't activate when engaged and a door is opened manually.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Answer
There is a possibility that the security system has locked up.  I would recommend trying to disconnect the vehicle battery and reconnecting it after a minute.  This may not solve your issue, but should be a good starting point.  If it is a factory installed security system and this does not solve the problem I would strongly recommend checking with the dealership for possible solutions.
