When the alarm goes off, the Headlights flash and the car horn honks.

I have a Park Avenue, its audible alarm will sometimes randomly activate after the alarm is set by locking the doors. This occurs at different locations and times. Since it's as old as it is, I just want to disable the alarm so the horn will stop blowing. Can you advise how this is done. I believe the alarm is factory installed.

issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Or, is it flashing parking lights, and
a siren going off?

Answer
Ok, to disarm and disable the factory alarm, locate the light green wire in the drivers side door harness,
splice into it, then put to solid chasiss ground.

That solves the factory alarm problem for good.
