Car Alarms: Clifford car alarm avantguard G5, clifford car alarm, 2005 ford expedition

I was wondering if this alarm would be a good choice for a 2005 Ford expedition.  Most installers claim the it is too computerized and charged me an arm and a leg to install it.

The alarm is a tough one. If you are not a Clifford/DEI
installer, there will be no after sale support as well.
It's not so much the truck here, as the choice of system
you've decided to use.

I would look around for something less involved for the
project you are working on.
