Car Alarms: 2002 taurus, power mode, fords

i disconected battery to re set car.  and now every time i lock car withh remote about 15 mins later alarm goes off?
any help would be appreciated.

This sounds as if your GEM is going into low power mode.  The GEM in some Fords sends a very small spike about 20 minutes after the last door is shut as it goes into a low power mode.  What does not make too much sense is why it did not do this prior to now.  I would recommend temporarily disconnecting the door trigger from the alarm to see if the problem goes away.  If it does you can diode isolate the trigger
