Car Alarms: RKE doesnt seem to work properly, rke system, caravan dealer

Question
I am having a problem with either the RKE system, or the alarm system.  I have a 2001 Neon R/T with a factory RKE system with the alarm.  When the car goes above 20km/h the doors lock automatically.  Lately the car doors have been locking and unlocking while the car is moving at any speed.  The trunk has been opening as well, and the alarm has been activated (the horn sounds), while the car is moving.  Lately the problem has been occuring while the car is parked.  I removed the batteries from the fob to no avail.  I have since pulled the fuse for the RKE system but I would really like to know what is wrong with it.  Would you have any ideas on how to fix it?  I put the fuse back in, reprogrammed the fob and the problem went away for a day, then returned.  I have since pulled the fuse again to avoid the doors unlocking unexpectedly at night.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.  :)

Answer
It appears to be a grounding problem.
Please re check all connections and ground wires
for the RKE.

Let me know what you find, but it's
the intermitency that tells me a miconnection
or bad ground keeps turning it off and on speratically.

I will be interested in your results.

If this was an after market system I would say it is a bad ground.  However being a factory installed system that is not really a normal option.  Although you might not like hearing this, I really think you need a new control module.  In my experience with Dodge electronics, the problems you are describing are typical of a bad control module.  Being an 01 it is probably out of warranty, but I just had a very similar problem occur with an 06 Caravan, dealer replaced the brain under warranty and have had no problems since.
