Car Alarms: remote start on 99 yukon, resistor value, passlock ii

hello, i will appreciate if i get some support on this. i was trying to install a remote starter alarm system( CodeAlarm ca670) on my  99yukon. i have plugged all cable including 2nd ignition and tachometer. the alarm attemps to start. apperantly it doeds crank the engine but it shuts of right away. i am not sure what i did wrong so if u have any ideas or suggestion please informe me. i will apprecite that.

The 99 Yukon has a Passlock II anti-theft system.  The passlock system must be bypassed for remote starting.  The problem you are describing sounds as if your bypass module is not operating properly.  Make sure you have followed all of the instructions step by step and you should be fine some require adjusting a resistor value but the ones I recommend require programming of some sort.  Also make absolutely sure you energized the white second ignition wire because if you do not you can cause permanent damage to the transmission in the vehicle.
