Car Alarms: car alrm troubleshoot, clifford alarm system, clifford alarms

Question
I bought a vehicle with a clifford alarm system and it's buzzing constantly without any motion near the car. what could be the problem?

Answer
I am not sure what you mean by buzzing, but I know that some of the older Clifford alarms (and probably some of the newer models)came with a radar sensor.  This sensor detects motion near the vehicle and will give a 'warn away' sound if someone is too close, and will go to full alarm if someone gets very close to the vehicle.  This sensor is very useful for vehicles with convertible tops, or say like Jeep Wranglers with a soft top.  The Clifford systems used to be adjustable via the remote control.  If you reference your user's manual it should list instructions on how to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor by just using the remote.  If you do not have the manual, post the model of the system and I will see what i can do about finding a manual for you.
