Car Alarms: Starter Kill on 2000 GMC, gm passlock, gm trucks

Since this GM trucks have a DIS ignition system w/ individual coils, where should the starter kill relay be tied in to the system?

This vehicle has the GM PASSLOCK II
vehicle anti theft system. No starter
kill relay is required as you can not
start the vehicle without the propper
key.

If one is added to the starter wire on this vehicle
it can and will conflict with the PASSLOCK II system.

I strongly advise against adding aftermarket
starter kill relays on these vehicles.
