Car Alarms: 98 Civic remote start issue, code alarm remote start, guage 1

Question
Iinstalled a CA 670 Code Alarm/Remote Start in a 98 Civic.  The alarm is working as advertised with the exception of the remote start the car attempts to start but when it does the alarm is triggered. I checked all the trigger outputs and all is well.  Any help would be appreciated.

thanx

Answer
From the sounds of it, you are missing an ignition wire.
The alarm part should have it's own ignition sensing wire,
which determines whether the alarm is bypassed during remote start or not. There should be 3 ignition sense
wires from the code alarm. 2 large guage, 1 smaller for
the alarm part of the combo unit you have.

Remote Start  Wiring  Location

Starter Wire : BLACK/WHITE IN IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Tach Sensor : BLUE (-) AT COIL OR TEST PLUG
"DRIVERS SIDE FIREWALL"
Ignition (1) : BLACK/YELLOW IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition (2) : YELLOW IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory : WHITE/BLACK IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
(ALL REQUIRED)

Go back in and check any and all ignition wire
connections, and make sure they are all done and
connected securely. Once satisfied you have ALL
the ignitions from the code alarm on the correct
Honda wires, then try the sequence again.
It should disengage the alarm part now when you
go to remote start.

Let me know your findings.
