Car Alarms: Dodge Neon 2001, dodge neon, impact sensor

Question
Having problems with the alarm going off for no apparent reason.  This happens when we use keyless entry remote or even just manually lock the doors with the key.  Seems to be more of a problem during the day.  Sometimes the alarm sounds every 7-10 minutes and of course if we don't know about it the battery wears down and the car won't start!  We took the car in for  service and they couldn't get the var to repeat the action (of course!).  What are some suggestions?  Should we try replacing the batteries first?  We do know that the car has been "rebuilt".  Thanks!

Answer
It sounds like the door trigger wiring is wrong, or
the impact sensor is set too high.

Have a tech go over these points and anything
else like an inernal power source that may be
triggering it. Somewhere in mix that alarm is seeing
signal to set itself off.

A tech should be able to rack it down and fix it.

Good luck.
