Car Alarms: OEM vs. Audiovox, scion toyota, alarmtek

I recently had a Scion dealear install a remote entry and alarm system, I assumed they would install the factory OEM model, but I was surprised that they installed an Audiovox brand (Pro 9842B).  Is audiovox better or worse than the Scion (Toyota) OEM equipment?

Middle of the road really. Alot of dealers sub out
the work, especially remote starters, car alarms etc...

Not a bad choice either. But nrmal. Nothing to get
upset over,m and in alot of cases, would outperform what
the factory might have installed.

If it's doing the job, don't woryy, be happy.
