Car Alarms: 1995 jeep GC limited, alarmtek, shock sensor

Question
I have a 95 jeep, that my wife drives, while she is at work, the alarm will go off for no reason, it is unarmed, it has gone off as many as five times in one day, in front of her workplace, it has never gone off in the evening when it is at home, any help is greatly appreciated.

Answer
This can be contributed to several things from
undue vibration (ie: trunks motorcycles storms etc...)
and the shock sensor is set up too high, to an
electrical field generator like a radio tower close
by that can set it off.

I would start with a "too sensitive" shock sensor on
the alarm. If possible, locate the sensor and unplug
it. Then have her try it at work for a few days.
If that's the trouble, either keep it offline,
or turn it down by the adjustment wheels on it, for best results.

I hope this helped.
