Question -
I am installing keyless entry in a 95 T-Bird LX  and I am having trouble with the wiring. At the switch in the L/f door here is what I have.

Pink/Blk  + when locking
Pink/Or   + on unlock
Pink/Yw   - always
Pink/Gr   - always
Wht/Purpl - always
Blk       - always
Blk/wht   + always

Using a + pulse to either Pink/Blk or Pink/or does not seem to suuply enough power to operate the locks. I checked all the wires at all states and they do not seem to reverse polarity. Can you help me with this one?

Thanks

Answer -
Mike,
In this car, if it has the keypad on the drivers
side door, this is a 3 wire negative door lock system.
Set up your keyless that way, and use pink/yellow and
pink/light green as the lock and unlock. (tap)

If no OEM keypad/keyless entry is present, then it's
a 5 wire reverse door lock system, mastered from the passenger door.

Most however are 3 wire negative with
the wires found in the drivers side kick panel.

Good luck. If you want the car's wiring chart, you
can get it at www.VEHICLEWIRES.com

There is no OEM keyless/keypad on the car so then it is 5 wire. On a 5 wire system I see there should be 2 switch wires and 2 motor wires. I can assume that the switch wires are the ones with power to them on the lock or unlock operation. Are the other 2 pink wires the motor wires and the 5th wire is the 12v constant?

Answer
Same 2 wires, pink/yellow and pink/lt. green
cut them. The cut ones coming in from the door are
the switch side, the cut ones on the inside of the
vehicle, are your motor side. See in your
keyless entries instructions as to what wires
are connected to the cut ends to accomplish the
task.

For support on your keyless entry however, you would need
to contact your seller, as I did not provide
the equipment, and my support is fairly limited here.
