Car Alarms: REMOTE STARTER/KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM, mitsubishi montero, keyless entry system

Question
HI ALARMTEK, I OWN A 95 MITSUBISHI MONTERO LS AND I WANT A REMOTE STARTER/KEYLESS ENTRY COMBO WITH TWO-WAY AND I WAS WONDERING IF I'D HAVE TO GET AN ALARM SYSTEM IN ORDER TO HAVE REMOTE STARTER/KEYLESS ENTRY FOR MY JEEP. BCUZ I HAVE A SEMI-AUTO THEFT PROTECTION DEVICE THAT I GUESS WAS FACTORY STANDARD AND CAME WITH THE VEHICLE WHEN THE ORIGINAL OWNER/S BOUGHT IT. I BOUGHT MY JEEP JUST LAST YEAR. IT HAS A STARTER KILL SWITCH CHIP THAT I HAVE TO STICK INTO A CHIP SOCKET, IN ORDER TO START THE VEHICLE. SO I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD KEEP THAT AND JUST GET A REMOTE STARTER AND KEYLESS ENTRY STAND ALONE COMBO (IF THAT EVEN EXISTS) OR SHOULD I JUST GET THE WHOLE ALARM COMBO? IF SO WHICH ALARM COMBOS WITH TWO WAY REMOTES DO YOU SUGGEST? AND HOW MUCH WOULD A MECHANIC CHARGE TO INSTALL THE SYSTEM IF I BUY IT FROM THE INTERNET?

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH IN ADVANCE.

Answer
Morning N.
I can put you into any or all combinations you
asked about and more. If no alarm is wanted,
how about the ASTRA 1000 rsw 2 way system and
a starter kill relay & socket*? Total on this would
be 99.95 + s&h. I would supply the notes for YOU
to do it yourself and save big bucks. This truck
is tooooooo easy to install into (and to steel by the way)
so we can do it together and save you a hundred bucks or
so. I would really consider adding the siren door triggers
etc...but that's just me.

Go see the system at www.REMOTESTARTCENTRAL.com and
let me know if that sparks your interest.

After it's installed, you can scrap that chip key.
Starter kill will be automatic when you lock the doors
with the new system.

Of course, a full system like the Galaxy 5000 rsw 2 2way
(see at www.pagingalarms.com or www.remotetartcentral.com)
you would have everything you needed in one box,
but of course if no security is desired, then stick
to the 1000. Go look, and then write me back with
any questions that pop up.
