Car Alarms: 91 Towncar alarm, side kick panel, neighborhood dogs

Question
My wife loves her 91 Towncar, except for the alarm system which makes the neighborhood dogs howl.  Car has keypad entry, kinda neat, shuts alarm off, but it might start going again.  This is with all the doors unlocked, shouldn't even be armed.

Presently I have the horn unhooked so the neighbors can sleep, but after the lights flashing all night I have to recharge the battery.

How do I rip this thing out by it's roots?  I've been digging through this forum, ground what color wire to ground?  Light green/ purple to ground for a 94, this is a 91, is it the same.

Don't need an alarm anyway, nobody pays any attention to them.  Walk out into a big parking lot, odds are that you will hear one tooting.

Haven't pulled kickpanel off yet and looked, wife gave me orders to look on internet NOW.  I've been pulling wrenches off and on for 27 years but this alarm thing has got me.

Thanks, I learned a few things from the other replies posted.

Answer
That's pretty close Harold,
Ok, in the 91' Towncar, find the FACTORY ALARM DISARM
wire, a DARK. green/purple in the drivers side
kick panel or, at the alarm module.
(The factory alarm module is located in lower
passenger side kick panel with keyless
entry module. )
Splice into this wire, and ground it to the chassis.

That'll do it my friend!
This system will be permanantly
disarmed.

Now reconnect the car horn, and get some sleep!

Have a good one
my friend.
