Car Alarms: Car Alrm shorting out power windows - draining battery, remote keyless entry, power locks

Question
I have recently had problems with my remote keyless access for the after market Black Widow car alrm I bought aboout 5 years ago for my 1993 Honda Accord LX.  It no longer unlocks/locks the doors, the power locks will not work and my battery was completely dead 2 days ago.  After a jump start, the remote access worked and the power locks worked.  I took my car to a shop for testing and they said everthing looked fine and that the problem couild be the linked to the alrm module.  If they disconnect this, I may not experience the problem anymore.  However, I will no longer have remote keyless entry.  This becomes more of an inconvenience as my driver side lock does not work and I have to unlock through the passenger door.

Any suggestions?

Answer
I'd have to disagree with the assessment that
the alarm is associated with these troubles.
I suggest that you let them unplug the alarm
brain and discount this as the trouble.
Then have them check out the car's systems.
Specifically the alternator. This is usually
why a car just "dies". It would be more than
odd if the alarm was the culprit.

If you simply wish to get another system, no problem
I have just the thing from 40.00 to 60.00 (with alarm)
that will do a great job.

But until then, let's have the mechanic unplug it,
and see if it is indeed the alarm/keyless.

I am betting it's the car's power distribution center.

Let me know.
