Car Alarms: My Keyless Entry, replacement transmitters, dash area

Question
Both of my Keyless Entry Remotes went completely bad, they fell in water. Now i cant get into my car with disarming the alarm completely. IS there a place to call or visit to have the remotes replaced or do i just buy another car alarm

Answer
Sure there are a few of places to try to get
replacements. 1. www.remotesunlimited.com
2 www.autotechs.com  3. www.keylessride.com

All specialize in replacement transmitters.
Until then, put the alarm into Valet/overide mode.
Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the valet/overide
button, found under the dash area,
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes on solid, and the siren chirps once.
(Your valet switch might be the toggle (on/off) type.
in this case, key on, flip switch in opposite direction,
key off.)

This should reset the alarm.

Just Repeat these steps to place it
back to usable armed mode.

That should do it.

Then if you still want to replace it
since the remotes will most likely cost about as much
to replace, as it is to get a new system from me, go
check out my car alarms page at www.CARALARMZ.com

Lot's to choose from!

Have a good day, and
good luck with it.
