Car Alarms: Viper Car Alarm, viper alarm, default mode

Question
I installed a Viper alarm in a 1967 cougar during the final stages of a total restoration back in 1992.  It functioned perfectly during the following three years the car was used as a daily driver.  The car sat unused and without a battery from 1995 to about 3 months ago when I got it running again.  When connecting the new battery, the alarm activated as usual and turned off with the remote.  It worked fine for several days, and then either I accidentally did something to the remote, or the alarm is malfunctioning, but now the door lock actuators are out of sequence.  In other words, if one locks (moves down) the other unlocks (moves up).  I have tried disconnecting the battery for at least five minutes hoping that the default mode would correct, but to no avail.  Have you ever heard of this?  I guess I could reverse the polarity on the one door actuator that is out of sequence with what the alarm brain thinks is happening (locked vs. unlocked).  If you have a fix other than that, it would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
It actually sounds more like the trigger wires are wrong.
Inspect the connection points at the door lock
hub. Switch them around until you get both working
in unison. Or, power down the system
again, go to the passenger door, and put the
actuator all the way up, and same with the drivers
door. Then  repower it to see if it syncs,

Let me know what you find.
