I just purchased a 2005 Ford Sport-Trac. It has power lock and windows, but no keyless entry. I tried to enter the programming to see if I just needed a remote, but it will not enter programming. I started looking for the module and fobs on the net and quickly realized I did not know enough about Power locks. Below is a link to the site I thought I could use but I don't know anything about the wiring. Are there wiring harnesses like installing a new receiver?

I am not sure I understand your question.
I don't know what you have in this vehicle for security.
It seems as if it's aftermarket if you have a valet switch
to program with, but not sure what the trouble is.

It is an XLS. There is nothing in it now. It has the power locks, so I know I do not need the actual mechanism to raise and lower the locks. I do need a module to receive the signal from the fobs and unlock the door. I need the fobs as well. I do not care to have an entire alarm, I just want the keyless entry. Will I need to cut wires to make this happen? I was hoping to find a wiring harness to slice into and then just plug into existing wiring plug. Then I wouldn't need to cut any of the manufacture's wiring. Just an idea, but I have not found anything like that.
