Car Alarms: 1994 Ford Mustang Alarm Shock Sensor, valet mode, mustang cobra

Question
Hi!
I have a 1994 Mustang Cobra with a stock alarm.  My keyfob remote for the alarm has 4 buttons: Lock, Onlock, Panic (red), and Trunk (blue).
I ran my battery out by leaving the headlights on, and then tried to push-start my car (it is a manual trans).  The car would not push-start, and so I tried to jump-start it.  This was not successful, either, because now NOTHING happens when I turn the key to start the car.
Next, I removed the battery completely from the car and recharged it.  After I reinstalled the battery and used the remote control to lock the car (it did lock), my LED light located right next to my rear defrost switch started blinking 3 times...  HOW DO I RESET THE SHOCK SENSOR/VALET MODE SO I CAN START MY CAR?!?!?

Answer
Ok, try this.
Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the valet/overide
button, found under the dash area,
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
(Note: some Ford dealers used CODE ALARM systems
as OEM factory. They are not. The LED may also
double as your valet switch)
in your dash area goes on solid, and the siren chirps once.
(Your valet switch might be the toggle (on/off) type.
in this case, key on, flip switch in opposite direction,
key off.)

This should reset the alarm.

Just Repeat these steps to place it
back to usable armed mode.

If it does not respond, I suggest you take
it to the local stereo/alarm shop to
see if they can help. Ford will not know
the alarm, and can not help so save
some time there and don't bother.

Good luck with it.
