Car Alarms: Viper 790 XV Responder, valet mode, viper 790

Question
I have a 2003 Chevy S-10 Extreme.  I had recently gotten a new alarm unit through warranty replacement.  The autostart has to be programmed and i'm not sure how to do it.  The unit has a tach learn jumper on the side, which i'm sure has something to do with it. When i try to start the car using the autostart, the car starts and then it sounds like the autostart holds on start for too long, and then the engine just stops.  Do you have any advice as to how to program the unit for the autostart?

P.S.  regarding a previous question that was posted, someone was inquiring about being able to lock and unlock the car using the remote, yet there is no chirp when they lock/unlock and the LED stays lit constantly.  The alarm is in valet mode.  To disable this, you have to open the car door and then press lock then unlock then lock.  After doing this the LED should go out and the system will no longer be in valet mode.

Answer
No sorry, I don't know the syetem.
You will need to contact the people who
you got it from from support on they're product.
But for onle thing, it does not seem that you did
the passlock bypass or not correctly, and it may also
have a tach learnig procedure you will need to make
it work. This is also from the manufacturer.

I appologize, but I am limited on this particular one.

Thank you for the solution for the previous inquiry.

Good luck on it.
