Car Alarms: my alarm arms itself, jeep grand cherokee, grand cherokee

Question
I have a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee.  I just installed a remote start w/alarm and keyless entry.  Everything works great except for the auto rearm.  It wants to arm itself even after the vehicle is running.  I'll be driving along and the alarm starts to sound.  Do you have an idea why it might be doing this.

Thanks
Ron

I have found several pur/yel or vil/yel wires in the area of the drivers kick panel.  None of them seem to turn the factory alarm off when ground is applied.  My remote start works great,,,, if it didn't set my alarm off.... help
Answer -
The purple/yellow wire in the drivers kick
is the right wire. If all else fails, open
up the drivers door panel, and find the
wire near the door lock assembly & ground it there.

That's the only way I know of to disable it.

Luck with it.

Answer
You are either on the wrong ignition wire,
or you did not attatch the ignition wire
for the alarm part of your system.

There is usually 2 heavy guage ignition wires
for the remote starter, and 1 smaller ignition wire
for the alarm. Yours does not seem to be correct.

Without it, the alarm will arm itself if set
up for passive arming all the time.

Go back in and correct this issue.
