Car Alarms: Alarm and turbo timer, turbo timer, timer mode

Question
Hi, I bought a GNU FM Combo 870 car alarm for a non turbo car. I have since bought another car and this model is a turbo. I wish to buy and install another alarm of the same make and model but I have a turbo timer installed to let the turbo warm down for a few minutes. If the turbo timer is runnning and you set the alarm won't the shock sensor keep tripping the alarm until the turbo timer switches off? Or does the alarm not activate until the ignition is killed by the turbo timer? Obviously I don't want to go to all the hassle of installing a fresh alarm system only to discover I have to sit and wait for the turbo timer to swtich off before I can set the alarm. Thanks for any help! Regards Gareth

Let me redirect this question to Commando directly
since they might have definate answers for you.
I honestly can't say there would or would not
be a delay before you can arm the system due
to the turbo timer mode.
