Car Alarms: Which car alarm is best?, override switch, confidence in the system

Question
Thanks for replying to my initial question about my three choices I really appreciate that.  If I was in your area I would probably let you guys intall it because I'm not a self installer.  I am curious though as to why you think that the Galaxy would be a better system for my particular car.  As I stated before, the code hopping thing I liked but it doesn't note that in the specs for the Galaxy. There are actually some things that I am curious about as to the meaning of the terminology. I hope I don't take too much of your time but what do these do/mean?

-Plug-in user programmable coded override switch
-Plug-in Dual Zone adjust piezo sensor
-User selectable Auto-arming/rearming
-Alarm trigger identification
-Dual mode reliable Smart Engine Sensing

Are there any other attachments or plugins that I need to be aware of that could up the price of my install but are also essential to get optimal operation from my alarm system? Are there any other ideal things that the Galaxy does which would help in my confidence in the system?  Have they been around for a while?  Is it a really quality system?

Answer
Scytek has been in business supplying other
manufacturers like Delta and Precision for 17
years. You as an end user can actually call the guy
who designed the unit you have and ask for support.

Can not do that with DEI or, Audiovox. The other thing
about the 5000 rsw is it's flexability. On the
4runner tundra and the highlander, the ability
to use a tachless or "smart sensing" unit is key
because if you attempt to do tach, the check engine
light may come on and stay on. So I suggest this
system for Toyota trucks to keep this event from
happening. The 5000 rsw 2 way remotes are code hopping,
and the system comes with 2 of them where all others come with 1 LCD and one standard.

All the way around a better deal.

Now for terminolgy:
-Plug-in user programmable coded override switch
this is a switch designed to reset and reprogram fetures

-Plug-in Dual Zone adjust piezo sensor
2 stage impact/vibration senor (warn away and instant trigger

-User selectable Auto-arming/rearming
active arming (must press button to arm-passive to
arm on last door closing)

-Alarm trigger identification
zone sensing displayed on remote
(door open-trunk-impact)

-Dual mode reliable Smart Engine Sensing
either tach or tachless operation is available

One last thing. From 2000 up
your truck may Be Equipped With a Transponder Type
anti theft system that needs to be
bypassed to do remote start. The ignition key
would be gray if you do & Black if not.
Bypass modules are 25.00. Any remote start
you buy will need to have this module to start
your vehicle remotely.

I hope this helps with your
decission. If you buy it here, we also help you
install it yourself if you think you can.
