Car Alarms: factory alarm(panic) system, clock spring, battery cables

Question
I recently purchased a 2002 Grand Caravan with keyless entry and a panic alarm. The problem is sometimes when driving down the road the horn starts to blow and the headlights and flashers begin to flash as if the panic button has been hit. We have replaced the clock spring per mechanics advice. Yet it still will do this from time to time. The only way to turn it off is to disconnect the battery cables for a few minutes. Then it may be 2 or 3 days and it will start again. Not sure if this will help but we had the dealership replace the headlight switch as the headlights were messed up when we test drove it. Please help as I bought the van a month ago and it's been in the shop more than it's been with me. Someone said the panic button is stuck but if that where the case then it should go off none stop, right?

Answer
I am sorry, but it's not an aftermarket issue,
It's a dodge product and will need the parts department to replace it so you don't continue to have issuses.

I would not have that info or, the ability to assist with
OEM (original equipmnent manufacturers) product.
I specialize only in aftermarket products.

My appologies. Good luck with it.
