Car Alarms: remote auto starter does not start car anymore, mazda protege 92, auto starter

Question
I don't know the brand,  but I can describe the problem, when I press the auto-starter, the car would not start, it tries and then off, so nothing happens.  I took it to the same people that installed and they claim it's my car, they say that for some reason the car is rejecting the command to start(?), which really doesn't make sense to me, now this is weird as NOTHING at all was changed and all of a sudden the auto starter stopped working, can you please help me?  I also wanted to say that they have rebooted the alarm system and that did nothing. The alarm is working fine, and all the features, except the auto-starter.  My car is a Mazda Protege 92.  Could it be that "something" got disconnected? Please help.
Thank you so much!!

Answer
Ms. Jones,
I wish I could offer some words that would
help here, but without my ability to actually
inspect the system, then I can't really help
much. I can however offer some points.

It can be anything from a misconnected
wire, to a pinswitch that is grounding out.

My suggestion here is to take it into
the alarm shop again, and tell them to please
check all ignition point connections, and
also the hood pin switch and wire going to it.

There is obviously a problem with the remote starter
at this point, not the car rejecting it. (silly)

If it worked all this time and all of a sudden it
stops, is it logical to say "the car just does not like it?"
Ummm, ok then, I have a bridge you might like to buy too!".

No it's more then likeley a bad connector.

Make them fix the trouble.

Have a good one and
stick to those guns!
