Car Alarms: Relay help for trunk release, cadilliac, trunk release

Question
I have a 1997 Cadilliac Deville, I just installed a alarm system in my car, I have everything hooked up except the trunk release and door sensor, The output for the trunk release coming off the alarm is positive, I have in my car a single wire going to the trunk latch which is negative, what is the correct way to wire this? Please help, I blown enough fuses.

in your case, it should be
positive. The wire at the switch
you are using should be black, and
shows 12 volts only when you press the button.
(normally a black wire)
