Car Alarms: u needed some other info on 98 eclipse, eclipse gst, alarmtek

Thanks for answering so quickly! I told you it was a gsx, sorry it's a 98 mit eclipse gst.
Horn Honks, Headlights flash, and there is no
LED light on dash area. Also note everytime you open the door the alarm goes off...locked or unlocked! FCC# GQ43VT6T....ISC# 1470K1362 both are on the back of the keyless remote entry.
Keyless remote entry has lock, unlock, and panic.
Sorry for being so illiterate on this subject!

No appologie needed. That's why I do this, for
folks who don't know.

Ok, it is the factory system, and it is controlled by the
green/white wire on the door handle drivers side.
It seems that your husband either disconnected this wire, and di not re attatch it correctly, (the factory alarm
is disabled when the doors are unlocked). This
needs to be looked at first.

The other is that the alarm is truely fried and malfunctioning (unlikely)

Tell him to open the door panel, drivers side, and
look at that wire.
