Car Alarms: Mazda 626 alarm wont turn off, flip switch, mazda 626

Question
The alarm will not turn off.  In fact, it seems to be stuck in a loop of trying to arm itself repeatedly, as I can see the lock on the driver's side door kind of "pulse" as it tries to lock itself repeatedly.  The remote does nothing to turn it off, or do anything, in fact.  I replaced the battery on the remote and it did no good.  I cannot start the ignition on the car.  There is a switch under the dashboard, but I've tried flipping it to no effect.

Answer
Ok, try this.
Put the key in the ignition, key on,
flip switch in oposite direction,
key off.)

This should be valet. This overides
the starter kill relay in the alarm harness,
and returns the car back to disarmed mode.

The only thing that will work now on your system,
is the keyless entry if installed.

Just Repeat these steps to rearm your system.

That should do it.

Let me know what happens.
